Hey Gators!

Tomorrow, Saturday June 6th is our Intersquad Meet! This is a practice meet, that allows kids to get a baseline for times, and get a feel for the flow of meets before we officially start meets next weekend. To create some competition we are splitting into "Pink" and "Green" teams. We will still warmup together, but I will keep track of points and announce a winning team! I used a very scientific method to split teams (I actually just alternated teams based on last names) to create teams and realize in doing so created some family rivalries so I apologize in advance if I create some tension in your household! 

If you are familiar with and able, writing those events, heats, and lanes ahead of time is a huge help. If you have no clue what I am talking about- don't worry coaches and junior coaches are here to help!

Attached are Pink and Green teams for tomorrow. This was copied straight from Swimtopia so if you don't see your child's name and they are swimming tomorrow-they likely are not be entered in the meet... please reach out to me!

This is also a great reminder to NOT wait until the last minute to get meet entries done. Entries for our next 2 meets are now open.

Stay tuned for heat sheets later today. Transparently- since I am still learning 120 names and faces, I did use Swimtopia to auto-populate relays for this meet. Typically I will do my best to get kids in at least one relay if they are available, but make no guarantees. 

A huge thank you to our volunteers tomorrow, there are still some openings so get those volunteer points done!

Tomorrow all athletes need to be at the pool by 7:20 for a team meeting, warmup is 7:30-7:50 and we will be starting the meet at 8 AM. It will be a fast meet- I can't wait!
