Meet Info - 7/12 @ the NFAC

Hi Team,

We're one sleep away from the final regular season meet of the year!

We're welcoming Collindale, Stoneridge, and Bucking Horse to the NFAC.

We still need 6 timers and 3 heating area volunteers to run this meet! Please sign up via Swimtopia or contact Melissa Willey.

Because of the large size of this meet we're starting at 7:30 am

We'll set up the team "Gator Farm" on the east side of the pool in the grass. Please no Gators on the west side. We'll also have the Gator Pit for our team cheer and meetings.

Please read the attached warm up assignments carefully.

Session 1 is all the OGs and a handful of Caimans:

  • Session 1 needs to be at the NFAC ready to swim at 6:10 am

Session 2 is the remaining Caimans and all of the Hatchlings:

  • Session 2 needs to be at the NFAC ready to swim at 6:25 am

Make sure you bring some shade, plenty of cold drinks, and food. Don't forget your goggles, towels, and warm clothes for after warm-up when it's still a little chilly. We'll have concessions!

Attached is the heat sheet and the individual entry reports to help swimmers write down their events, heats, and lanes. (Coaches will also help with this in the morning).

  • Please note — we're combining events 5-6, 7-8, 9-10, 17-18, 37-38, 39-40, 47-48, 67-68, 69-70, 75-76, 77-78, 79-80 6

Remember to bring/wear all your NFG gear: team caps, team shirts, team hats, and team suits! NFAC Pink Out!

Unless you have a solid reason for leaving early, please plan on staying the entire meet to support your teammates in the distance events, help clean up the NFAC, and celebrate the conclusion on the regular season!

Three final notes about tomorrow:

1) I'll be more stationary than usual during tomorrow's meet — I need to stay locked in on the action in the pool so I can make informed decisions about some relays and events for City Meet.

2) I didn't necessarily put relays together based on the fastest times for this meet (this is especially true in the free relays). I purposefully wanted to spread kids around and give everyone a chance to earn a ribbon and swim with new people before we strategically form relays for City Meet.

3) If you haven't paid your City Meet dues yet, Melissa is collecting cash and checks at the meet.

Let's go be the funnest, nicest, and fastest team in the pool tomorrow!

Go Gators!

Coach Kyle
