Congratulations to all our swimmers on a fantastic first meet!

Today Nelson Farm lived up to being the funnest team, nicest team, and fastest team!

Your impressive performance at Village Green puts us at 1-0 on the season: 

1st place: Nelson Farm Gators 

2nd place: Village Green 

3rd place: Fossil Lake Ranch

4th place: Stetson Creek

Keep up the good work! Stay hungry, we've got a lot more swimming and winning left to do on the season.

Meet results are attached. I'm aware there's a few wonky results in the 50 frees across some younger age groups. I'm hoping VG can fix the issues. If they can't straighten things out, John Cloudman and I should be able to manually rectify the results. 

Thank you to all our awesome parents for getting your swimmers there early today and staying the whole meet to support the coaches and team. Speaking of coaches, our assistant coaches crushed today — swimming their own events and still managing to get all those Hatchling and Caiman relays organized!

Looking ahead:

• The week of 6/16 - 6/20 marks the OG's and older Caimans entering the distance phase of our training plan. Expect high yardage days to build a solid endurance base. We'll increase yardage for the younger Caimans and Hatchlings but the primary focus remains learning the fundamentals and ensuring legal stroke and turns. 
• Our next meet is Saturday, June 21st at the Nelson Farm Aquatic Center. We'll open event sign up for that meet on Monday along with volunteer sign up.
• Enjoy your day off tomorrow and happy Father's Day to all the Gator Dads out there.
