Intersquad Meet Info - Saturday June 7th
Hi Team,
We are one sleep away from our first meet at the NFAC! It's a practice meet designed to help everyone gear up for the real deal, but exciting none the less!
Warm-up info:
OGs: 6:50 - 7:15 am (arrive by 6:45 am)
Caimans: 7:15 - 7:35 am (arrive by 7:10)
Hatchlings: 7:35 - 7:50 am (arrive by 7:30)
Please be on time for warm-ups.
The meet starts at 8 am beginning with the 8&U medley relays. The meet should take about two and half hours, maybe closer to three hours.
Unless you have a solid reason for leaving early, please plan on staying the entire meet and supporting your teammates and helping clean up.
The weather looks pleasant (finally!). Make sure you bring some shade, plenty of water/drinks, and sunscreen. Early in the morning, it'll still be chilly after warm-up so make sure you have warm clothes to change into because we won't be swimming for a while once we finish our warm-up.
If you are new to Nelson Farm or swim team in general, you can visit the Swim Meet 101 page to learn more about what to expect on Saturday.
Please read through the attached relay explanation document to help explain the relay selection process.
Lastly, we'll send the heat sheets for tomorrow later this evening. The coaches will have plenty of time after warm-up before the meet starts to write down events, so if you don't know how to do that we can help swimmers the morning of.
Thank you in advance to all our awesome parent volunteers helping out!
