Hi Team,

Today was the final day of the State Championships down in Denver, and it was a doozy!

After day two (yesterday), NFG was in a respectable 5th place in Division Two. But the state meet is a three day affair, and the 13 & up Nelson Farm Staters were ready for their turn in the pool...

In what was probably the most impressive day of state swimming I have ever been a part of, our older swimmers willed the team to first place en route to a 2024 Division Two State Championship!  This 2024 state championship puts a bow on a true undefeated season, 6 - 0. We won every single meet we entered this season, let that sink in....

Congratulations to everyone involved! And I don't just mean the state swimmers. Everyone on this team has a part in making Nelson Farm great - in and out of the pool. It's a total team effort and it takes a village (or a farm). 

And thank you Nelson Farm parents. Not only do we have the best swimmers in the city, but we have the best group of parents. None of this would be possible without your support!

Tomorrow at 6 am I'll be watching meet videos and looking at pictures from the season to fill the void. But I hope everyone else can sleep in and enjoy the rest of summer. 

I hope to see everyone at our end of season party on the evening of Monday, August 12th. More info to come, but plan on a potluck, awards, and swimming around 6 - 8 pm.
