7/6 Meet Wrap up and City Meet Prep
Hi Team,
Awesome meet today from start to finish — what an incredible way to wrap up the regular season!
I saw lots of smiling and laughing Gators demonstrating great sportsmanship and team spirit out there. We certainly had a lot of fun at the ol' NFAC today, and as I always say...it's a whole lot more fun when you're winning! We got another well-deserved victory today (results are attached):
1. Nelson Farm - 5329
2. Huntington Hills - 2384
3. Centennial - 914
With the win today, we went 4-0 during the regular season! Pat yourselves on the back for a job well done, but don't celebrate yet. An undefeated regular season won't feel near as special if we don't cap it off with a City Championship next week. Stay hungry because the job isn't finished yet!
Speaking of City Meet, all the entries are finalized and submitted. I made a few tweaks to entries for a small number of swimmers, but for the most part, everything stayed as it was for today's meet. I'll be sending out lots of information (entries, relays, warm-up times, directions, logistics, etc.) over the next couple of days in preparation for the big meet. In the meantime, please review the City Meet packet (attached) and let me know if you have any questions.
