Hey Team,

We're having a fantastic Gator Week! Thanks to all the parents who contributed to the Gator grub fund — it's been a hit! And a huge thank you to Melissa Willey for running around in the early morning to pick these food orders up and bring them to the pool!

It's hard to believe we're over half way through the season already. The City Meet showdown is looming, which means we need to get a few things in order.

These are strict deadlines. If you miss any of these deadlines, your swimmer may not get to swim and/or will have to pay a huge late fee to enter them late.

• Wednesday, June 26th (@ midnight) 
  • Merchandise orders are online and need to be purchased by midnight on 6/26
• Monday, July 1st (@ 8 pm)
  • Program Orders: If you want a meet program (physical packet that contains heat sheets for Fri/Sat) please fill out this Google form by 7/1
  • City Meet Entries: On Thursday 6/27 (we're waiting until after the SCCA sign up closes), we will open sign up for City Meet in SwimTopia. Get in there and sign up for your events like you would for a normal meet by 8 pm on 7/1. As usual, coaches will put together relays. 
    • You can swim four (4) individual events. With a few exceptions, I want everyone to swim four individual events for the good of the team. The more events you swim, the more chances for team points! I reserve the right to change individual events so we have swimmers spread out evenly in every event (this applies mostly to our older swimmers).   
    • Each individual event is $5, each relay is $3, and there is a $5 event surcharge per swimmer.   
    • We'll let you know your final City Meet total on Tuesday, July 2nd. Please plan to pay via Venmo @NelsonFarmGators, check (payable to Nelson Farm Swim Team) or cash (in an envelope with your swimmer(s) names on the envelope). 

Lastly, each team is required to provide volunteers at City Meet. We need two (2) timers and one (1) volunteer in the heating area for both Friday and Saturday (6 total volunteers). If you still need volunteer hours or just want to help, please sign up in SwimTopia.
