Hi Team,

Congratulations to all our swimmers on a fantastic first meet!

There was lots of fast swimming, awesome sportsmanship, and spirited laughter.

Your impressive performance at Westfield puts us at 1-0 on the season! That's right, the Gators emerged victorious today:

1st place: Nelson Farm Gators - 4020 points

2nd place: SCCA Sharks - 3398 points

3rd place: Westfield Waves - 2004 points 

It's worth noting that SCCA even had five more swimmers competing today. Last year, SCCA beat us in our head-to-head meet, so that bodes well for our City Championship aspirations this season!

Keep up the good work — and thank you to all our awesome parents for getting your swimmers there ready to swim and supporting the coaches and team. Speaking of coaches, our assistant coaches crushed today — juggling swimming and coaching, and getting all those young blood relays organized!

Next up: Village Green and Observatory Village at the Nelson Farm Aquatic Center 6/22. We'll open event sign up for that meet on Monday and communicate about parent volunteer needs. 

I look forward to getting everyone back in the pool on Monday to build on this momentum. Enjoy your day off tomorrow and happy Father's Day to all the Gator Dads out there.
